Little birds of thought Freed from a glass bottle mind Spread your inkling seeds.

Kaleidoscope stars Tear holes in the paper earth; Sharp gazes can cut.

Quiet the waters Let the dust settle and dream; Sing a lullaby.

The skies lit up with fluorescent lights, a million stars in the sky. A little boy stood in a carnival booth- eyed a game he wanted to try. The boy threw a ball won himself a fish, delight colored his eyes. He picked out a little rainbow guppy- such a treasured new prize. Weeks went on, the leaves changed colors, and the guppy swam along. But one day the guppy died changing the tune to the little boy's song. He cried and cried, begged his friend to wake up, water sloshing in the bowl. The little boy couldn't understand why his guppy had to go. "Hush now, my child, endearing sweet; you'll see him on the other side

We are all but fickle flames- birthed of chemical energies contorted by the passing winds. Blown out by whispers; our only footprints the ashes of all that we touched.
